100 word challenge
Gaint cup
My family and I decided to go to a forest far, far away. It was a little bit scary. At the forest as we were walking I saw a white, giant cup. In the cup is gold, shiny designs that look like leaves that fall off trees in Autumn. There was also a gold line on the inside with a little line beside it and on the handle was a little bit of gold. On the outside were two lines of gold. I was really confused when I saw the cup in the ground I wonder how it got there?

100 word challenge
This week we were given a story starter but what if I was in charge? My focus was on making my story interesting and staying within 100 word limit.
My Sister and I were on our way to KMart to get me some new clothing . We arrived and walked into the shop we walked over to the clothing section but there was no clothing. My sister said “lets go and get a chocolate bar instead.” So we went to get a chocolate bar and they were all out of chocolate bars. I was thinking of something else we needed I thought of hair ties but they were all out of hair ties. If I was in charge of KMart I would make sure there were lots of chocolate bars, lots of girls clothes and lots of hair ties.

My learning goals for 2018
Today I brainstormed a new goal for panui pukapuka, tuhituhi, pangarau, hauora and a key competency goal. I have created a google drawing and I am sharing it on my blog to prepare for our goal setting conversations next week.
