Fractions

WALT recognise the whole of an object, equal parts and their names. I liked learning about fractions. My favorite thing was macking the playdough pies and Biscuits.

Interland

WALT be cybersmart using a game called Interland. In this game there are 4 different cyber worlds each focussing on a different part of cyber smart. The green mountain which is the one we started with is about being kind and caring. I got to the top of this mountain and scored 245 see my screenshot below.

Then I decided to have a go at the Tower of treasure which is about making strong passwords.

I learnt about cyber smart by using this game.

WALT estimate and measure to the nearst centimeter
We had to do a slide about Measurement. I learnt that my hands and feet were bigger and smaller than my feet and my hands.

Paua

WAL about th harvesting of paua.
We had to gather information from a video and online. My favorite fact was that they are eaten by crabs because I thought that the crabs would be to small.

The Respiratory System

WAl about the respiratory system.
We are learning about lungs and how they work.My favorite fact  was that if you hold your breath for too long your brain will force you to breath.

Whatukuhu

WAL about kidneys.
We are learning all about kidneys. I really liked the disection.

Manawa

WAL about the heart.
I liked this because we got to do a colouring.  It was fun watching the videos
